My love for health and fitness started back in 2005. I was an athlete (volleyball and softball) my whole life until college when I found out what happens to your body if you eat junk and are not active. I then met my husband at our church while playing volleyball at youth group and he was very passionate about fitness and it was from then on that we started our journey of fitness together. After getting married and having two children I found myself sad with my new body. I gained 60lbs and it took a lot of hard work and trial and error to get my body back to "normal". I tried every diet and type of workout possible. I finally discovered that dieting is not sustainable long term. Eating healthy and lifting heavy weights is where it's at for me. It was the trainers along the way that helped me reach this understanding and I am forever grateful for them. This is what sparked my desire to become a personal trainer.

It took me a long time to figure out what my body needs and what it responds best to. Everybody is unique, each with their own goals and lifestyle. I will construct a plan and training schedule according to your fitness experience and needs that will have you seeing results in no time.

As much as I hated taking before pictures I am glad I did. They are great for tracking progress and keeping you motivated to get to your goal and to not fall back into old habits.
